What
This scholarship is designed specifically for children with exceptional talent who may not have access to professional training. We believe in nurturing the next generation of dancers and providing them with the support they need to shine!
Where
This project is only for young people who either live or go to school in North and East London.
When
Training will take place twice a week.
children will also be encouraged to compete and take part in group performances.
Who
all children in the London borough should be apart of the Healthy Lifestyle tour we will be doing in schools. encouraging fitness
Who
Young people with a dance interest should look into joining the dance school. if they have the means to without the scholarship
Who
Scholarships are only for children who have been selected or have auditioned.
the scholoarship is available for 11-16 year olds
Outcome
After promoting fitness through dance classes in the schools and selecting a number of dancers for an elite dance squad to enter competitions. We will be focusing our scholarships on children at risk; children with deceased parents, children at risk of exclusion, children attending alternative learning projects, girls in gangs. We will have a final performance piece. And those offered a 12 month scholarship will be able to train as a team with our coaches for a new dance squad to help with their social engagement & well-being and fitness.
